Waiting on Wednesday - The Midnight Star by Marie Lu

Summary:

The thrilling finale to the New York Times bestselling Young Elites series from “hit factory” Marie Lu.

There was once a time when darkness shrouded the world, and the darkness had a queen.

Adelina Amouteru is done suffering. She’s turned her back on those who have betrayed her and achieved the ultimate revenge: victory. Her reign as the White Wolf has been a triumphant one, but with each conquest her cruelty only grows. The darkness within her has begun to spiral out of control, threatening to destroy all that she’s achieved.

Adelina’s forced to revisit old wounds when a new danger appears, putting not only Adelina at risk, but every Elite and the very world they live in. In order to save herself and preserve her empire, Adelina and her Roses must join the Daggers on a perilous quest—though this uneasy alliance may prove to be the real danger.

Bestselling author Marie Lu concludes Adelina's story with this haunting and hypnotizing final installment to the Young Elites series.

I want to use caps for everything but I'm refraining BECAUSE THIS SERIES IS SO FREAKING GOOD. There are already ARCS there in the universe and I'm like I know I'm a small insignificant blogger but is there some way I can get one.

"The thrilling finale" BUT I DONT WANT IT TO END. This series is just too good to end. Maybe a spinoff from every character is in order? ;D But that is my book reader's dreams. I know Marie Lu has maaannyyy WIP to work on, including Warcross and Batman (which I'm so freaking excited for). But a girl can dream, right?

Adelina is one of those characters that you can't forget. She is the villain to her own story. She seeks justice for those who wronged her by causing destruction to those she loves. I just hope the ending doesn't mirror the ending of Champion where you cry for days. (Most likely though, I DO have a theory but I won't say anything)

The cover had stars, night, and ice capped mountains. I call that perfection. I love the cover. I actually dreamed that the cover had something stars and night related. Well, the title is called The Midnight Star and it probably didn't take much imagination but the look is something from a dream I had.

Anyways, I'm so freaking excited for The Midnight Star. I really can't wait to know the final leg of The Young Elites Triology.
